We have once had a site that sounds like yours. I did not like having one side that much higher than the other and spent half the night awake with every little movement. To me, it was like being anchored on a lee shore and a sudden squall appears. Fortunately, it was only for one night. I won’t do it again. I’ll go elsewhere first.
I have seen bottle jacks fail catastrophically and it ain’t pretty when 5000# of truck comes down that fast and hard. Wonder what that would do to the usually undersized suspension of most trailers.
Definitely, digging a hole would be better.
