I remember when cars had drum brakes on the rear you would tighten the wheel all the way until you could not spin the tire and then back off a couple turns until free. Do the breaks on a TT adjust...

I then get out with TT still in middle of road and make sure ALL wheels are sliding. That way I know all brakes work. I do it at start of each new trip year (so once in spring).
