I used ceramics on my Tundra after getting a "deal" on after market pads. They were so soft that there was always brake dust on the front wheels. Tough to remove. I am not a left foot braker. I switched back to OEM ceramic pads and problem solved. Ya gets what ya pays for!
  • I have thought about EBC but they are the most expensive too. I will look into the others suggested also.
  • My latest is Performance Friction and I am on the heavy side also. Excellent pads.
Second choice is EBC. Most premium brands will serve you well.
  • I got mine at Autozone--lifetime warranty. Have replaced once at around 60,000mi feee. I tow a 32ft enclosed trailer with a car inside. Total weight is around 23,000lbs.

  • I replaced my DRW (06 GMC) with Hawk SD pads. I liked them, certainly better than the oem pads were.
