That may be a little harsh, 'though it's certainly true that a newbie these days has FAR more tools at his / her disposal to educate themselves about any given topic, a tool those of us who have been at this for awhile didn't have back when we were newbies. It's called The Internet ... and Google ... and online forums like this that can be a huge resource for information. No, not the source of be all, end all answers, but certainly resources that can put a newbie in a FAR better position to make the right decisions than if they simply walk into a deal on a trailer or tow vehicle without having any idea at all what it's all about, as seems to be the situation here. :(
