British Columbia Insurance and camper purchase questions

I got insurance today. When I went, the agent I was dealing with had no idea what I was talking about or how to do it. She ended up calling someone from another office who told her it had to go through icbc. $220 for collision, comprehensive and 5000,000 liability. I didn't have the time to shop around, the camper was on my truck and really didn't like not being insured so I just bucked up and got it. Is this on par for you guys?
