I made sure to get the tailgate step on my F150. The bed height is at least 2-3" higher than the old 150 it replaced. I've already used that step at least 20 times in just one weekend - my old knees are thanking me!
My curb weight on the 150 is 5800 with the 7850 GVWR package. RAWR is 4800. So far I am averaging 17 MPG with the 3.5EB but I've only got 200 miles on it. :)
Having driven several F250s in my research, the F150 feels slightly smaller and rides better than the base F250. I really didn't like the ride of the F250 with the FX4 package.
I do like the heated/cooled front seats in the Lariat package. Going from the XLT to the Lariat brings a lot of creature comforts that I wanted.
