You are correct, I did make a mistake there. The diesel is a nice engine but overkill for what I am doing and a lot more money. For my use I am very satisfied (so far) with my Ecoboost and $8k in my pocket. Now, if they offered the Ecoboost in the 250 that might be a different story.
As for making the engine in Mexico, Ford is a global company and it is only fair that production is global. But, I do believe that every company that imports stuff should have to declare their corporate trade balance and pay a tax on their deficit or possibly get a credit for any trade surplus.
