There were a several things that lead to our choice. First was that DW preferred the look of the Superduty to the 150, and as bad as that sounds, it carried a lot of weight in the process. Second at the prices involved, we knew it would be a long term investment (I hate to use that term with a depreciating asset), and needed to be able to handle not only the camper we have today, but the next one as well. The diesel gave us the most options going forward, small to midsize 5th wheel, or huge bumper pull. Finally, after getting 8-9 MPG with the Expedition, we are hopeful that we see double digits while towing.
