I had the dealer remove the Onan from our AF990 when we bought it new. I use the AC almost every time we go camping and the Honda will run our 11K BTU AC for about 5 hours per one gallon of gas. If you buy a 3 gallon extended run tank, the Honda will run continuously for about 20 hours without having to refill. The Onan is much more expensive to operate per hour but, of course, you lose the pushbutton convenience. That is the only thing I miss about the Onan. The Honda is the best piece of power equipment i've ever purchased. Even when neglected, it starts up on the 1st or 2nd pull. Never had a problem with it.
