Bumper-mount outside grill - Wanted

I am looking for a Bumper-mount outside grill for my 2014 Jayco Jay Flight 32BHDS. If anyone has one they want to sell or can tell me where to buy one. I would rather not go through the stealership if I don't have to. Also, I have seen the BillsBumperQ website, but would like the factory mount and grill if I can find it.
  • I recommend a quality grill first. I have not heard anyone love their OEM bumper mount grill. How many people love their Weber Q?

I paid $250 for my Weber Q220 and cart. No regrets.
  • We have a side mount RVQ for over 11 years with not one problem with grease or over heating the side of the camper or even with the awning out.

  • I mounted a 3 burner, 30,000 btu, Camp Chef stove to my trailer and it slides out 5' from the trailer. I've never had an issue with grease. Outside cooking is the way to go, but you need the right setup for your trailer.
  • My last TT had a RVQ mounted to the side. Worked fine for years no major grease or splatter issues. I believe the bumper mounted types are on a swing arm and are not close to the side of the trailer at all
  • We bought a 2 burner propane stove from mall wart that uses the 1 lb canisters and love it. Stores easily and works great. Put it on the picnic table and it stays away from the trailer. Complements the charcoal grill wonderfully and keeps heat and odors out of the camper.

To add to the other posts, the bumper mount grills I have seen aren't of the greatest quality. Agree with the others, mess and potential BBQ'ing of your trailer aside if things got out of hand, there are a lot of nice alternatives out there for about the same money or less.
  • I agree. We have the Coleman shown and absolutely love it. Not sure id want one mounted to the trailer.
  • Not what you will want to hear but..

While I never had any grill that mounted directly to a trailer, I found out having a grill or any cooking appliance anywhere near the trailer results in a terrible greasy mess splattered on the trailer siding.

I only took one time to realize how hard it can be to clean off splattered grease.

I am sure there will be hundreds of testimonies to the opposite but I will never, ever use a grill or cook anything that splatters within 6ft of my trailer.

There are a lot of decent portable grills with and without stands, I would highly recommend buying one of those using them away from your RV and save yourself a lot of cleanup work..

    On edit..

    Something like THESE ...
