I will give you an alternative view on whether to get 4x4 or not. While 4x4 is reasonable for some I would contend it might not be cost effective for a mostly dedicated 5er tower. Also, since you don't have a strict schedule to keep for like work you have the luxury of not traveling when and where 4x4 would be needed.
