My advice is take your executive salary and buy a motor home, and tow your car. You stated that you are living in your car so I'm assuming it's not a pickup truck.
Why? because you seem to have not made your tow vehicle part of the equation which is not very farsighted. You didn't state that you were planning on upgrading in this area, and neither did you answer the earlier question regarding your TV. Don't expect to tow a heavy TT with a car - and don't count on the manufacturers towing capacity number. Research Payload on this forum.
So if you do get this TT you want to live in, know that heating a TT in winter costs a lot of money and produces a lot of condensation on the windows and walls. So at the least, get something with dual pane windows.
Someone also mentioned that air quality in TT may not be up to your standards. The interior of my 3 year old TT still smells of particle board and glue. Clean towels and linens left in the cupboards need to be laundered before use.
Don't try to supplement your heating with a combustible liquid fuel heating appliance. People use electric, but in my book, it's an accident waiting to happen. Don't care how many years someone has been doing it yada, yada, yada.
Whatever your situation is, as most other people posting here are telling you, your accepting much worse living conditions than you can afford. Most people just don't get that. I don't buy your story of not being able to find decent living arrangements - no way is a TT you absolute last choice, but no matter - I'm just an anonymous person posting on an internet forum. I just know I could/would do better for my family on an "executive salary" than life in a TT.
Good luck.
