Many here are suggesting a House? Crazy, the OP says he moves a lot for the job, setting up utilities, moving furniture all the stuff that goes into moving. So lot rent is same as renting, that washes out with house taxes, utility set-up and closing, deposits, moving expenses, ugh. $300 lot rent is nothing. Also the TT is a tax write off where a rented home of any kind isn't.
To the OP, not sure I would get a small TT get the biggest your TV can haul and enjoy the scenery and mobility.
I think the op said he has moved many times due to living arrangements, very different than changing locations due to job requirements. Maybe op can clarify.
I have found everyone on this site to be extremely helpful and generally straightforward but cryptic dialogue can make honest advice difficult.
