I haven't read the whole post. The amps you use increases with each appliance you run at the same time.
Example: 1 AC might draw(use) 15 amps, the 2nd draws the same. 2X15=30 amps used.
You try to use the microwave at the same time and you will exceed the 30amps you are plugged into and that breaker should OPEN and you are without power.
Reset it and you are back in business.
Just don't use too many appliances at the same time. Especially: toaster, hair dryer, microwave and AC all at same time. It's taken about 6 years for my wife to finally understand this.
Sway control: I say YES you need it. I have a 28ft travel trailer. I use dual sway.
This last camping trip, very close to my house, I decided to pull without sway just to see the difference. I could tell a difference. I never got above 45 and it's on 2 lane highway.
I won't do it again.
