Buying new Duramax HD - input from Dmax owners wanted

I don't have a dmax but I do have a dual alternator set up. I love it. I wired it so that the second alternator only charges my RV batteries.

I didn't have any luck with the isolators that separate the truck batteries from the RV batteries and I didn't want to use the bar switches.

I am sure there are good isolator switches. I just never got one.

I have a overhead camper so isolating the RV and truck batteries are a bit more important.
