Buying new Duramax HD - input from Dmax owners wanted

If it is an option I don't see the need at all for a 2nd alt unless it's a dedicated plow truck or wired up for aux use as stated above. Just another component to******out.
I'd add a 3rd battery before a 2nd alt but don't see a need especially if you've got it in the road where it charges he batteries for a while.
That other stuff is std, ebrake, dual batts.
