Buying New sight unseen

Ok, I wonder if I should order a TT without ever seeing it, I like the Arctic Fox 32A, but only seen the pictures and video from there website. The closet one is 6+ hours away. There are other models at Lazy Days in Longmont but no 32A. Would you do it or not?

  • We recently looked at a fifth wheel that I was fairly sure we were going to buy. Turned out the color scheme was darker than it looked online and the fold out sofa was suitable only for children. I’m glad we made the drive to look at it.
  • I have spent a lot more than 12 hours shopping for the right RV. Just my .02
  • I did it when we ordered our 2016 AF25R. No regrets.

But I think I would have made the trip to see it first hand if there was a 25R within a day's drive or so.

If you are apprehensive, why not make it a two day trip to see the exact model you would be ordering? Lots of $$$$ involved. Stay in that area overnight before returning home. Call ahead though, to make sure the dealer will still have it on his lot.
  • The Arctic Fox 32A is an absolutely beautiful trailer....floor plan, construction, fit and finish, design elements, livability are all first rate. I have been in a number of them.....

But, everyone has different likes and requirements, so I'd still make the trip to view one..Lots of coin to shell out sight unseen. You will probably be even more excited after you actually walk through it.
  • As you know, We have that very model and did indeed buy sight-unseen. Ordered it just he way we wanted.
You can go to the dealer and pick out the fabrics and colors by looking at other models on the lot. So you have a good idea of what your getting. Also give you a good idea of how it's built.
I also poured over the Youtube video's of it and paused to look at every detail.
Would do it again in a heartbeat!
