buying new truck, assistance needed

I looked at the ecoboost with the max tow package, but ended up buying a 2500HD, 6L and 3.73 rear. At some point in the process, I said to myself, you can buy a 1/2 ton that's trying to be 3/4 ton or you can just go ahead and get the 3/4 ton and be sure you've got enough truck. That settled it for me.

BTW, in my experience gas mileage isn't as bad as some would lead you to believe. I get about 16.5mpg in mixed city/hwy driving commuting from the suburbs to downtown daily.
