In the past I've had a few truck campers, (2) AF 990 and an EC 1165 that I hauled on a 2006 F-450. I never had any cab clearance issues with any of them just using just a 3/8" standard bed mat on top ...

Ford did away with the shark fin antenna, my truck has (2) lower profile antenna's, 1 on each corner at the rear of the cab.
