- carringbExplorerWhoa. That thing is in nice shape! I didn't even know A/C was offered back then, much less rear A/C!!!
- blt2skiModeratorFor a few years at the end of the run IIRC the 250 was called a 150, 6lug 150 was dropped. The E150 was the 8800 gvwr van. The 350 was a 9900 gvwr. Then again, my brain electron has remembered things incorrectly in the past......so take with a grain of salt.

It must have been a bad design , especially since its still being used by the 2016 E series cutaways and it under the 2017 F 250 and 350s
although it has been tweaked some its still twin I beam - dodge_guyExplorer III figured it was a 1 ton, but the E100 in the post threw me off. didn't know if they had weird option pkgs back then or what. either way it is very cool.
- lbrjetExplorerYou would think as a one owner they would know the correct model.
Looks to be in great condition, but not sure if the odometer has only gone around once! - FarmerjonExplorerWe had an 1980 E350 with the 400 and C6. we used that to replace our truck camper for camping with our horses and traveling coast to coast.
We loved it.
We kept it until 1990 still in perfect condition just not very useful for the farm and no time to go anywhere. - blofgrenExplorerCool, thanks for posting! We had a 1969 camperized model with a raised roof when I was growing up. We made a lot of long trips in it and the trusty 302 never missed a beat. We didn't have A/C though!
You certainly don't see many Econolines from that era in that nice of condition very often. - mtofell1ExplorerMy first vehicle was 1967 Ford Falcon van that was about one body style earlier than this one. Mine had the engine completely inside between the seats. The one pictured they were moving the engine forward but still not all the way out front. I think this is one of the earliest versions of the 302 V8. Pretty cool trip down memory lane. Thanks.
