AnEV942...to solve the issue of massive H2O on front cab over window, I made an insulated flexible planel that worked well for many years. this is modified from my original install. Use 1/2" bed roll foam from a sports store covered with bubble foil both sides (get at HD), covered again with heavy color coordinated cloth (sort of like thin blanket material) and padded with that white fluffy stuff used in furniture cushions available at the fabric store...used industrial spray on contact cement to assemble it all. It was of such a size and stiff/flexibe, use snaps or velcro to hold in place. It never got really wet, never mildewed, stopped alot of heat (sun bake black glass) and cold down my neck was gone too. Good weekend project after you collect all the materials. Fabric didn't come wide enuf to do it economically so I used contrasting color ultrasuade on ends for about 12"... gave it depth and looked like it belonged, since I had covered the new dense foam dinette seat cushions in the same fabric...tied it all together...I'll try to find some pics.
