Those Chevy/GMC LS-series gas engines are truly great. We had the truck you just sold ('06 2500HD 6.0) at work that served in the worst job - the not-assigned-to-anyone-in-particular company runaround... thats the one that gets beat the most. It's got 180,000 nearly trouble-free miles so far and still runs great and works hard. I put a serpentine belt tensioner on it a few years ago, and that's all I recall ever doing besides regular upkeep. I think if you want a gas truck, you can't go wrong with what you have.
