Thanks everyone. You all gave me a lot more than I thought about which is why I asked. Originally this was a straight out garage for the boat, wife's suburban, motorcycle, etc and then I realized the TC would fit. Very excited about that. It's a metal framed/truss garage that can be a carport or enclosed for a garage. Started out 8 foot walls and then I changed it to 12 which is the tallest this company will go. It is a bit taller due to the cement block foundation base. 13 total including this. It is starting life next week as a carport which I will be enclosing over the summer and fall. My requirements for this project include it being paid for as we go and not financing it in any way so dropping 25K all at once is out. I will be using roll up garage doors to keep them out of the way when open. I had planned 12 foot tall doors but will see if a 13 will fit with the block walls and the open ceiling to the peak. The metal trusses allow me to have open space right to the peak which should end up around 15 or 16 feet. It has been beefed up for NH winters and meets the local building requirement for 80# snow load.
I never thought about entry slope which I will have. I have always noticed how tall the basement models look but I guess I never realized numerically how tall they really are. I bought my TC at Truck Campers Warehouse but that is a 5 hour round trip so this is much quicker, easier, and more informative.
Thanks again
