Camper Jacks

Ok I have a badly twisted one that required my hammering it real hard to get it to retract far enough to drive away when it happened & it still sticking out a about a foot.

& so now I don't trust it to support the weight of the Camper & need to replace it.
& wondered if any of you might have one to sell or some good links?

I've already tried Walts & AZ RV Salvage.
& my local Craigslist.

One day I would love to UpGrade to electric remote control jacks, But that not within my budget at this point.

  • Might see if an auto body shop can straighten it.
  • There is a good thread on here about pulling apart the jacks to clean and lubricate them. Look in Truck Camper university at top of TC forums. scroll down to camper jacks. There is a very good post by KKELLER14K lots of pictures and well explained. This is for Happijac jacks. Just noticed there is also one for Atwood jacks. I haven't read it since I have Happijacs.

    Machine shop?!?!?!
I grew up working in Machine shops & we never did anything like that?
& no, I'not thought about having it repaired, but that a great idea.
I wonder where around me would do such work?
