Thanks for the replies, I am going to continue with the stripping process and see how far this goes, got rain in the forecast for all week so hopefully this weekend I can get it all apart and start drying out the lumber.
If I can get this thing repaired so it will last long enough for me to figure out if the family likes camping I will call it a success.
