Camper satisfaction

We've been very satisfied with ours - it's the ultimate couple's travel trailer! Camping for 2-3 weeks at a time is a total breeze in this unit, with loads of kitchen and storage space, and the fresh and waste water capacity is excellent for our needs.

The only real downside is that we have to be very careful in researching the campgrounds we can fit into. We've considered downsizing somewhat in order to make longer trips down to the US a possibility, but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. For now, LOVE our Sprinter by Keystone!

We're very satisfied with our Northwood Fox Mountain. We've had it for 3 season and only a couple problems that Northwood caused. Both very minor. One I fixed myself an the other was fixed by an RV shop.
Some of the other problems are industry wide. Like the faded front cap, cheap faucets, squeaky floor vent, etc. After winter all I do is take the cover off, run some water thru it and turn on the propane. Like a good lawn mower it fires up on the 1st or 2nd pull. We have about 10,000 miles on it and camp about 50+ nights a year.
We look at RVs at RV shows off and on and we still come back to Northwood. They seem to have a more solid feel to them. Not as flashy as some but that's fine with us.
We are looking at getting something else in a couple years so after a couple more years with our Northwood I'll have a better idea of how well it's built. It's easy to say any trailer is really nice after 1/2 a dozen nights in it. Give it 5-6 years and that's when the quality or lack of quality shows.

Our Lexington although not a TT has served us well in the year that we have owned it. We have taken trips Calgary to Gaspe as well as Calgary to Arizona and it has been just great. BTW it was an x rental.

Regarding the two posts above, Robert describing his Airstream as a "travel trailer" and happiest camper discussing windows, I would suggest these are a couple of the features of trailers that new folks would do well to consider when shopping. How we use these RV's has an effect on how satisfied we'll be.

I too use my trailer to "travel", and spend 5 to 7 months a year in it, so it was important to me to have an interior that is comfortable for me. When you're on the road that much, you spend a lot of time inside.
By comparison, if all I did was weekend "camping", I'd be spending most of my time outdoors, so I would have different needs for the "inside" part of the camper.

Windows....ah yes, I wanted windows all around not only for ventilation, but letting light in.

Bought the one in the sig new on Halloween in 2009. Only problem - the manufacturer didn't put the hood vent directly over the stovetop, but halfway back. Cannot use the stovetop at all because of this (first time I tried it became obvious very quickly that the air was becoming unbreathable). I was only trying to make coffee, as I do all my cooking outside (learned my lesson in the old trailer when I fried some fish). I can still use the oven if needed.
One thing I miss about the old hybrid we had - you had windows on all four sides and could always get a breeze. Now we only have windows on two sides.

Extremely! Arctic Fox 1994 31W Heavy but great year round!

It seems like most people are happy with their camper which is good. We have a 2010 KZ sportsman 242 that we bought last year and started thinking about the next TT after the 1st trip. The worst thing is the U shaped dinette is too small and very poor cushions, it also did not have WH bypass or antifreeze suction and tanks too small. part of the issues could be we came from a 34' class A.

We've traveled over 8,600 miles in the last 1 1/2 years with our Starcraft Autumn Ridge 329BHU and couldn't be happier. Sure, we've had a couple of minor glitches, but overall, we're totally satisfied!

2015 Starcraft Launch Ultra Lite 21FBS. Purchased new last August. Two trips last fall and so far so good! Looking forward to this summer.
