We also have the somewhat unpopular HJ tiedowns and spray in bed liner that's 11years old, nothing else, and haven't detected any movement of the camper. We don't drive hell bent for leather on rough roads or in the wind either though. Old folks. We've had this set up for over 8,000 miles of travel. Of course we also have an older model truck with an adequate bumper for the bumper tabs. Thick and triple supports. Drilling into it was a bugger. The part in the bed is bolted thru the bed into the frame not just the bed as some folks seem to think. We don't have to worry about hooking anything on a rock or mud under the truck. Just our experience tho, others will vary I'm sure.
