We first thought we might like a rear tent model but I looked at one and decided the down side, for us anyways, didn't equal out to the advantages. Once the tent got wet, you would have a problem getting it dried out before the mold started growing here in the SE. Heating and AC would be difficult, as well as security when the tent was out. (just lift the edge and crawl inside)
I looked at an Adventurer, that had a slide out with bunks, in it that looked good. There was an article somewhere, perhaps in truckcampermagazine.com done by Jeff Johnson and his wife on that model. Looked that 5 could sleep in it somewhat comfortably.
