I think you've noticed the trend in replies from those of us near Seattle.... When ISN'T it raining?

Winter - cold rain
Summer - rain is warmer

Winter - socks with sandals
Summer - no socks :B

No, I don't even own a pair of sandals. That is just a funny saying I've heard folks from Seattle say before!! :)

Just like in rain, if you have the proper Technical Outerwear its a blast to be out there.

There is no inappropriate weather, just inappropriate clothing.

The most recent America's Cup yachts for BMW/Oracle have been made here in Anacortes, WA. The NZ construction manager lived next door, and when we invited him for dinner he would bring over official team clothing. The $2,500 foul weather gear (Henry Lloyd bibs, and spray jacket) are magnificent). Don't tell him that I dump the holding tanks in the NW horizontal blowing rain in his gear. . . and also yacht race in them.

Sometimes it's appealing to just get out of the house and go somewhere in the RV. The rain is somewhat irrelevant.

Actually we have Rubber Maid deck box full of dry rain gear and seat cushions.
