Campers are made for removal. If I am staying anywhere for longer than 2 nights and wish to do a little travel I remove mine. The key is good foundations for each corner (usually I carry 4 12" x 12" x 12" blocks) and proper supports under the camper while it is off. For my wood framed camper, corner supports are insufficient and I have two stands that are 12" off the ground and span the width of the camper floor. One near the rear and one near the front under the floor give the necessary floor support. That combined with the four corner jacks left with just enough lift to assist in camper support and my camper with 8 points of contact to the ground is as solid as a rock.
