The ability to unload the TC is the main reason I bought one in the first place. 9 out of 10 times I unload it from the truck.
I do not support it.
I use Torklift Wobblestoppers and they work perfectly. My family of 3 never feel any unstable or wobbling feeling.
There's always a few people around here that can't jump up and down and scream fast enough about impending doom from a jack separating. I suppose if one was suspect, then I'd have it repaired or reinforced. Otherwise I think some people worry too much.
I don't worry about it being stolen, I have insurance for that. It could get stolen anywhere at any time. It could fall any place at any time. I could get struck by lightning...blah blah blah.
BTW, the Wobble Stoppers have locks to prevent their removal...kind of a theft deterrent.
