Wow I don't know how I feel about this topic. I love camping with friends. We do it a few times a year where we invite a lot of friends and go camping. BUT my wife and I have either lived with these people or grew up with these people. They are like family. (I've had family stay with me also, and be more of a pain in the butt) Some of our best trips we're with friends and their children. Accidents happen and this just seems like a string of bad luck. I do understand about going camping just as a family, less planning, and more spontaneous! Good luck and I hope you have better trips in your future.
