- dandybananaExplorerThanks Peg Leg :-) My husband can fix pretty much anything. I'll do the cosmetic stuff & he'll work on the problems. He does AC & plumbing also so I'm not looking for something pristine at all. I'm just trying to find something that isn't completely rotted from head to toe lol!
- Peg_LegExplorerThere should be a tag some where with a VIN. If it's not to far away, it don't hurt to look. If you do, look for any stains around the wall/ceiling edges, windows, vents and any plumbing that you'll be able to see. One picture doesn't convey a lot of info. If possible take a uninvolved party with you, someone with camping experience or that's handy with fixing things. They might spot potential problems that you wouldn't think of. Example, the alum stone guard on the front could have been put there to protect, or added later to cover a problem.
I don't know what kind of project your thinking of doing but it doesn't look to be in bad shape, but looks can be deceiving. If you don't like or aren't will to fix any problems, walk away. Don't buy just because you aren't finding anything. Keep looking, you may not find canned ham but might have to settle for caviar when the right rig shows up. - dandybananaExplorerThanks so much everyone for the replies ;) I'm trying to find a small trailer (was hoping for a canned ham) to restore but my husband wants me to find one w/ a bathroom. It seems like there's just not much to choose from in my area. I don't want to spend more than $2,500 because it's going to be my project. But everything I'm finding so far they want that much for a dented shell w/ rotted interior. The pic I posted, they were asking $2,200 but haven't replied to my question regarding make/model. Feeling discouraged :(
- Jack_Diane_FreeExplorerSeems odd that if it was towed there is not a protective cover for those big front windows. Every trailer I have had even my 1972 Golden Falcon had a fibreglass cover for the front windows. Looking more like a FEMA trailer to me.
- BumpyroadExplorerwelcome aboard. ask a lot of questions here before making a move.
it does resemble a FEMA trailer however, possibly has too many windows to be one?
bumpy - dandybananaExplorerOh wow! I'm new. Just looking for a trailer to buy. I didn't know there was such a thing as a homemade trailer :-(

I would guess 2006 and a brand/model you have never heard of...looks like a FEMA trailer. The radius windows indicate it is not more than 20 years old or so. No stickers is often a sign of a FEMA trailer. The access panel for the fridge is cheap looking. The title should give you all of the details.
It looks very much like a home made unit to me! Jb - robsouthExplorer IILooks homemade to me.
