- mkirschNomad IIThose are RCA jacks. Normally those are for line-level input/output. White and red are generally used as the left/right audio channels.
Line level signals will not drive a non-amplified speaker. You would need to hook them to some sort of amplifier before the speaker, if they are outputs.
It's hard to say what those are for. It doesn't make sense that they'd be line-level inputs, and it doesn't make sense that they'd be line-level outputs either... Why would you want to set up an amplifier outdoors? Why would you want to set up a stereo system outside to play on the speakers inside the camper? - sabconsultingExplorerUsually those connectors are for line in / out on a hi-fi. E.g. to take the output directly from a CD player or similar. Not speaker connections from the amplifier.
At least that was always the case on hi-fi equipment. I don't know if anyone has re-purposed these connectors for speaker cables, but in my experience speaker cables have a different type of connector so as not to get them confused.
Steve. - WyoTravelerExplorerThose are called RCA conectors. Ones mounted are female. You need male RCA connectors. Very common for audio. Radio shack sells the connectors.
