- mdamerellExplorerDepends on local ordinances and public services.
It is against local ordinances to dump anything in the storm water drains. See City of Fort Wayne website for all the details and phone numbers to tattle on your neighbors.
While my storm water drains are also the sewer lines in our neighborhood (80 year old neighborhood) and run to the treatment plant. The city is spending millions to upgrade and separate the storm drains from the sewer system. Whenever we get a big storm the treatment plant is overrun and they dump it all into the local rivers which upsets the Fed's.
You'd probably avoid many headaches, legal and otherwise, if you used the sewer cleanout instead of dumping it in the street drain. One of those water powered macerators would probably do the trick if the sewer line cleanout is not handy.
Reality has nothing to do with the law and local ordinances. Common sense is dead and some things are not worth being right. - SuperchargedExplorerJust find a farmer near by and let it go in his field, he would come out in the winter and do it to you land in Az. if no one was looking.

- jake2250ExplorerAs long as I cant see it from my house,,,Let 'er fly!!!!Not going to hurt anything!!!
its 98% water with some dish.hair, body soap in it,,, maybe some used tooth paste ans more water!!! We use bio degradable soap in the shower and "Dawn" dish washing soap in the kitchen,, So whats the big deal??? all the animal rescue folks use Dawn to clean animals soaked in bad stuff,, My "tech wash" silicone car wash is probably worse than any of that!! And I usually wash both cars and the truck at one shot!!! Just make sure you wash it down with plenty of water!!! And NO black stuff!!! - dodge_guyExplorer IIHow does a septic tank/leach field at a house work! goes right back into the ground to be reused later in life as drinking water.
I think I would rather have grey water flowing into the storm sewer more than what washes into it from the highways! - JJBIRISHExplorer

your not serious are you- please tell me your just a "troll" on this subject:h
Not really meaning to be a troll....just been around storm drains and their associated maintenance enough to know what actually ends up in them make gray water (even WITH a trace of black tank crossover) is nothing to be so upset about.
I would bet all of those things that end up in the storm drains as well as gray water from a camper would be illegal if intentionally dumped in there as a means of disposal… and it should be that way…
Why would anyone think it would be ok to dump anything they don’t want where it will end up being someone else’s problem later…
This happens all too often by commercial companies trying to save a buck, and for them it is criminal, and it can be criminal for individuals also…
To say it just soapy water is a false excuse to justify selfishness… it is impossible to say what is in that stinky water held in a storage tank even for short durations…
I doubt anyone would welcome my spot dumping 40 gallons of my gray water on their property or even near it, no matter what they say here…
While there is nothing wrong with asking a question to something you don’t know the answer to, be prepared for the replies to a question that can have disgusting implications… - SCVJeffExplorer

Just to tick y'all off. Remember. IF your tap water comes from a river, and most city water does. Somebody craped in the river up stream of you. Actually, a lot of somebodies. I would not worry so much about a little soap in the water. We have larger problems.
Thank you!!! :) - TerryallanExplorer IIJust to tick y'all off. Remember. IF your tap water comes from a river, and most city water does. Somebody craped in the river up stream of you. Actually, a lot of somebodies. I would not worry so much about a little soap in the water. We have larger problems.
