Can I put a little baking soda in my TT toilet?

Please don't laugh , but my toilet in our new to us 06 Hornet stinks to holy hell! We can't hook it up to water to flush it out until we take our first trip in a few weeks. I was wondering if I could ...

Yup, that's what I do. As for the vent there will be a little pipe sticking out of the roof of the TT over the top of there the black tank is. That's the vent.
