When you have a relatively big load for a given tow vehicle, it just means that the "headroom" to deal with adverse towing conditions (hills, wind, mountains) is slimmer. A combo like that for trips to a local campground will be just fine. Now, try loading it fully and wanting to go across the country - and that would make you want to shop for more truck.
