Why would that be? There are plenty of campers made for short bed pickups. And there are plenty of long bed pickups. Squish them together and... you got a bed that extends past the back of the camper?
Absolutely! It's easy. Just look at d3500s picture. Back that camper up against a good solid concrete wall and then punch it in reverse. You can squish em together easily!
In the meantime, you need some visual cues. Take your truck to a camper dealer and look at some campers. There are a couple sparse popup models and a bunch of ancient campers that will work but not many modern ones.
