Can you put a short bed camper in a long bed pickup?

Seriously though, there are campers like d3500s picture that don't have storage or a generator in the wings and can slide forward in a long bed, not overhanging much. I have one, in a short bed, but it would go in a long bed too and only overhang a foot out the back.
But the camplite you're talking about wont.
And think about the bike thing again. Hanging your few bikes far enough off the back to open a door will have them so far back, they'll be draggin asphalt. Not to mention that moment arm thing.
