Can you run a small a/c (9600btu) w/2000i portable genny?

Just picked up a new (Pulsar / Workzone) 2000i at Aldi for $169.00 on clearance. My question is should it run my small a/c 9600btu on my Northstar 950sc? Rex told me it could be run with a regular ext...

I doubt it if it is a Yamaha clone. At least, my wife’s uncle’s wouldn’t run mine. You could try switching from fan to AC and see if that allows it to start. Do make sure everything is off and the converter is unplugged as well.
