My previous S&S 950SCS, no way. - JohnAMExplorer IILance 2011 1191 the depth of the slide was increased from previous models. You can access the bathroom with the slide in, no problem it's a rear bath and the door is across from the side entry so its ok for a quick stop. However, you can not get between the table and stove or into the bed with the slide in, unless you are very small, so we would never camp this way.

Arctic Fox 1150. Very useable with slide in. Getting in and out is a little tight, but bath, kitchen, bed and dinette all accessible. The only areas not accessible are the long narrow compartment under the step to the dinette and the small area under the step to the cabover.
Yes, cdbinns! That's one of the reasons we got an AF, although I've never camped with the slide in but for roadside stops, it's nice to still be able to use the facilities. - BedlamModerator

However, I don't understand the obsession of of not deploying the slide. Even when fully deployed, it is fine at truck stops. If you are parallel parked on the street, the slide is curb side and does not interfere with traffic. If space is tight where you plan to stay, you can partially deploy the slide and have plenty of space. If you are trying to stealth camp where you should not, I have to ask why since there are so many places you can camp without issue. - ADA6969Explorer990 ARTIC FOX NO PROBLEMS, I AM 230 LBS

My AF990 is usable with the slide in. Getting in and/or getting to the bathroom is possible but is tight. Everything else except the long storage compartment along the front of the dinette is no problem. In fact we have used the camper in -18 F temps and chose to keep the slide in.
Yes...what e said.
