Hello
I am new to forums and bought a travel trailer in Sept. 2013. My wife and I decided to purchase extended warranty provided through SAL insurance company. Recently we saw another TT with the perfect floor plan for us and decided to sell or trade our older one.
SAL does not refund what is remaining on warranty which expires Sept. 2018. It is transferable through private sale but not through dealer.
If trailer is traded it seems to me that insurance company will have received full payment but will no longer be responsible for the TT.
Anyone have similar experience? Reading forums online it seems refunds are common in USA.
Thanks
Canada/USA is meaningless, the only thing that matters is the contract you both signed.
Just one of the many reasons many people have determined that these insurance policies (not technically a warranty) are a waste of money.
