canoe

Does anyone haul a canoe on their camper?
How do you do it?
My canoe is 15' 8" long.
It is too wide to fit on the roof next to the A/C unit.
It would overhang the side of the camper.

    I thought about getting a single axle boat trailer and putting a rack on it as well as a deck and a gang box.
    I could even weld a generator to it.
    It would be easy to fit it with a BBQ grill and haul extra propane tanks.
    It's justy another thing sitting in the yard.
    Boat trailers are a dime a dozen on Craig's List.
    It would also be a good way to haul some firewood.
