Cap or not to Cap?

In the non-camping season, I have an ARE topper for my truck. Personally, I like the way it looks, and love being able to load the truck bed and not worry about security, weather, and if anything is going to fly out.
Since I have a 5er, the topper is off the truck most of the summer. That said, we still take a couple trips out to Lake Powell with just the boat. On those trips, I put the cap back on. I bought a hoist system (I want to say it is a top cat EZ lift, or something like that). That system allows me to install/take off the topper by myself, and hoist it into the top of the garage (14' up) by myself. I can take the topper off or put it back on in about 15 minutes.
So, I guess that is a long way of saying that I really like having a topper.
