Carpet Replacement in 2007 Northern-Lite

The carpet will pull and scrape up. You can sand out the roughness and install vinyl, carpet, or whatever. I like vinyl for easy cleaning and you can use carpet runners over the vinyl and easily replace those as they get dirty.

I maple floored the dinette area too.

I took out the four screws that were thru the step carpet. I glued and screwed a 1X2 on the underside of the front inner edge of the step and just set it back in place. I also took out the little drawer and its hardware. I removed the drawer front and screwed it in place from the inside. It looks like the drawer is still there. There is a lot of storage room under the step.
