Anyway, I’d bite the bullet and adapt the front hitch to a motorcycle carrier. It will only be stronger with double receivers. You won’t enjoy working around the bike to get in/out of the camper assuming you don’t have a side entry. Also, the weight will be handled better on the front.
Ok. Good points. I do have rear entry which is why I was going for 48” extension instead of 36.
I already have a motorcycle carrier for the rear hitch. 2”. Works perfection no truck camper.
I have to drill out holes in 2” tubing, cut 2” tubing, drill holes in my motorcycle carrier to do the front.
I’ll post a bunch of pics now of what I have. Should have started with this.
