Can you weld the L bracket to the tubes on the front?
You can get 3 welds on each.
With the fastener sizes etc they aren't going to break off I wouldn't think.
Bike is 300lbs. Rack is about 40lbs max. Aluminum rack. I really would prefer not to leave the bike behind.
Problem with just letting them droop is the bike rack clearance gets pretty slim.
Maybe I can get someone to weld those l brackets on. That’s a good thought.
I just have no experience with all of this hitch stuff and it’s very, very complicated.
