Before our trip to Daytona beach I weighed my truck with full tank of diesel, DEF and no tailgate. Then weighed the truck/TC empty with 2 full propane. Loaded up with all gear, supplies, front storage box/cargo carrier which included Honda 2000, 1 gallon gas can, tool box . 8 12" x 12" cut 2x6s sewer hose stands. With My DW, Myself, 70 pound dog and kennel in back seat and full tank of water, 38 gallons in tank 6 gallons in hot water tank. Will not travel with full tank in future but I do like enough in tank for two quick showers in case we stay with no hook ups. Sure Glad I bought a DRW!!

Any chance you could share what your truck is, as well as your Truck Camper? Any mods on your truck? Any mods on your Truck camper beyond manufacturer installed?Thanks.b

Your camper has much better weight distribution, than mine. I am working on it, but other than deleting spare tire there is not much I can do. Hate to think of driving with sewage in rear tanks.

No problem b. 2015 ram 3500 longhorn Laramie CTD DRW long bed 4x4. 2014 Adventurer 910 DB. Truck is stock. Might install super sway stops or air bags. Maybe a sway bar. Not sure yet. TC has a power awning, two batteries, two propane tanks and Coleman 9.2 AC.

Here is mine, same truck as Bill, only he has rear factory air bag system. this is with my 990 loaded for week camping, 1/2 tank of fresh water (or maybe more). full diesel. wife and I in truck. But I am towing a 7x14 box trailer that contains BMW R1200, honda 2000 gen, fishing and beach gear, large full cooler. I expect tong weight was 200-300 lbs.

13,980 GVWR on a truck with 14,000 GVWR.
