Bring a long stick/broomhandle, or similar object with you. I personally use my 6-cell Maglight.
You'll need it to press the call button on the scale. It's about 10 feet off the ground.
They'll ask for a vehicle number and if it's your first weigh. Tell them it's a private vehicle, and you'll be good to go.
