Yeh, that's kinda what I think I'm looking for. I'm thinking with our new crew cab, the cabover may not stick out far enough to hit it.

I've run a fender mount for many years. The antenna just rests against the cabover. I could stick a foam ball on it but never bothered as it leaves little trace. Another option is to stick something on the cabover (tape/foam) to wear against. - BradWExplorer IIhttps://www.amazon.com/NCG-FO3ANTNCG-Vehicle-Specific-Superduty/dp/B06XQ4NZ3P/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1525191848&sr=8-1&keywords=cb+antenna+mount+for+ford+f350

I have one in a similar location on my RAM. Had to get a short antenna to keep from hitting the bottom of the cabover. - NMDriver2ExplorerAmazon link I have a similar one on my Silverado. Gets good SWR readings with a 4ft firestick antenna.
